The application of diagnostic systems, both conventional and those specially developed for the performing artists group, helps us to more reliably determine the causes and consequences of the process that the artist has consulted us about.

However, the most relevant information to reach a diagnosis is usually obtained through careful listening to the information and sensations provided by the artist himself and a complete physical examination (general and specific, during the artistic activity itself).

At the Institute we have, for example, high-definition ultrasound, videostroboscopy to analyze lip vibration in wind musicians, a system for measuring the physical condition of the mouthpiece, MIDI keyboards to measure coordination aspects or myo-biofeedback devices that allow us to detect and optimize the degree of muscle tension when performing artistic activity.
