Dystonia

Katia Novell

OBC Violinist

I arrived at the clinic desperate, with my hand paralyzed, not knowing what was happening to me.

It had been 6 years since I started feeling strange sensations that gradually degenerated into total paralysis. A year and a half later I am fully recovered and playing better than ever. The gratitude I feel is endless.

The treatment is very hard but, done well, it is a guarantee of healing; I can vouch for it.

It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions given to us and even increase the difficulty, as much as possible. I also recommend doing psychological therapy to face the difficult process. Finding out that you have focal dystonia is very difficult on an emotional level. In addition, psychological work will help you dissipate the resistance that you generate throughout the treatment.

I recommend monastic calm to begin this journey, as well as discipline and all the creativity that comes to mind.
